How to prepare Matchado tea

 

The traditional matcha drink

Ingredients:

  • 2 heaped scoops of matcha using the bamboo ladel
  • 2 table spoons of hot water (heated to approx. 80 degrees Celcius)

Equipment:

  • Bamboo ladel
  • Traditional bamboo whisk (100 prong or more to ensure matcha is evenly mixed)
  • Traditional matcha bowl

Method:

It’s super simple

  • Use the ladel to add the matcha to your bowl
  • Slowly add the water
  • Whisk in a circular motion with the bamboo whisk to mix to ensure the matcha is smooth and dissolved
  • Enjoy :)
